Join us on Thursday, November 17th from 12-1 p.m. CST for SMSDC’s final Regional Task Force virtual event of 2022. Meet & Greet with our newest local corporate member, PGC General Contractors, LLC. 

For 40 years, PGC General Contractors, LLC has provided a broad spectrum of private, commercial, and municipal underground utility services throughout central Texas. PGC specializes in the rehabilitation and installation of new water lines, wastewater lines, storm sewers, lift stations, and fire lines. 

PGC has built relationships within the State of Texas that have allowed strategic growth and sustainability for generations.   

PGC has proudly partnered with the Small & Minority Business Resources Department and recognizes the benefits of building these relationships to produce a quality product.

The foundation of PGC is built on five core philosophies: Safety, Quality, Client Services, Proper Care of Equipment and Tools, and Production. These philosophies extend to the partnerships and relationships PGC has built. Together these values and relationships create an unstoppable force. Learn about NMSDC’s Certification Reimbursement Initiative

This program provides a way for minority business enterprises (MBEs) to eliminate the burden of the certification fee. Each business must meet the funding criteria of the funding sponsor company. Initial sponsors of the program include:

By removing cost as a barrier to entry, the Certification Reimbursement Initiative incentivizes MBE certification and exposes your business to the value of that certification in the programs, services, connections, and business opportunities that come with being a part of the NMSDC network.

Calling all MBEs:

Each affiliate regional council has a Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) that consists of owners/executives of minority businesses elected by local NMSDC-certified MBEs. As a standing committee of the affiliate regional council’s board of directors, the MBEIC provides constructive input, promotes council events and activities, develops programs, and serves as the liaison between corporate members, staff and MBEs.
